Ms. Karen Y. Windom-Gatling, a native Los Angelina, has had an eclectic career in arts and entertainment that spans over 25 years.   She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from California State University, Dominguez Hills where she studied piano performance under the tutelage of the late Delores E. Stevens, and also holds a Master of Science degree in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University. 

Ms. Windom-Gatling served as the Director of Orchestras for the International Leadership of Texas (ILTexas) Garland Middle School and High School Campuses and transferred to ILTexas Saginaw Middle School where she was a pioneer teacher and served as Director of Orchestras for 7 years.  Ms. Windom-Gatling joined Keller ISD in August 2024  and she is the Director of Orchestras for the Central Feeder pattern that includes Parkwood-Hill Intermediate School, Hillwood Middle School, and Central High School.   Ms. Windom-Gatling is excited to be a Charger and looks forward to many phenomenal years to come!  Go Chargers!
